Your workplace of the future starts here

We can't expect our young people to walk into a job fully formed unless we give them a helping hand while they're still at school. Foundation Apprenticeships have been designed to support our younger generations as they move into the world of work while also addressing employers' skills needs. They are bold, progressive and they work. Spot and shape Scotland's young talent so your business develops as they do.

Closing the gap between the classroom and work

Foundation Apprenticeships are industry-recognised qualifications that offer secondary school pupils in their senior phase time out of school to study at college and learn as they work with local employers.

Senior pupils complete the two-year FA alongside their other subjects, which can then lead into a Modern Apprenticeship.

By giving young people earlier exposure to the world of work, we’re helping them develop the skills, experience and knowledge they’ll need and employers want.

Here's a short film to inspire you...

Are they available in your sector?

Creative and Digital Media

Civil Engineering
Financial Services
